The makers of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Gully Boy' have dropped a trailer announcement video which is a small teaser of the film titled 'Asli Hip Hop'. It has repetitive rap verses by Ranveer where he shouts,"Asli Hip Hop se milaye Hindustan ko."

The short teaser starts with Ranveer as a local lad from Mumbai starting his daily routine as the rap song sung by the 'Padmaavat' actor himself plays in the background. We do spot Alia as his love interest sporting a hijab. We could definitely predict a love triangle which Bollywood seems obsessed of by the entry of Kalki Koechlin with her quick kiss with Ranveer.

The rap by Ranveer is the thing trending on the Internet and his versatility is thoroughly embraced. Click here to watch the video.

The teaser also featured Vijay Raaz and Vijay Verma in a pivotal role. The film is majorly filmed in Dharavi, is loosely based on the lives of Mumbai rappers Divine and Naezy. The first trailer will hit YouTube on January 9. Written by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, 'Gully Boy' will have its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February.

Speaking about the film earlier Ranveer said, "With Gully Boy, I was just concerned with just being in the moment. I wouldn't concern myself with going to the monitor and checking what's happening. So, I didn't know how the film looked like. I didn't see too many frames either."
