It is the Noble Prize winner Malala Yousafzai's biopic titled 'Gul Makai' and the makers have unveiled the first look poster of the film which is serious and intense. The most powerful women and the youngest Noble prize achiever Malala Yousafzai the girl who fought for free education in the terrorist-prone area, risking her life to fight for the rights of the innocent minor out there surely deserves a biopic.
It is the first look poster of this Amjad Khan directorial that has Reem Shaikh as Malala essaying the Pakistani girl. Holding a book in her hand with half of it destructed by the bomb with a strong tagline,"One child, one teacher, one book & one pen, can change the world." Reem's innocent stare is the highlight of the poster.
The film has been majorly shot in Kashmir. The film will majorly revolve around the incident of 9th October 2012, the day when Malala was shot on her leg by a Taliban gunman as she rode home on a bus after taking an exam in Pakistan's Swat Valley. She was aged 15 then. The brave teenage braved the bullet and after undergoing surgeries stood back on her feet fighting for the cause of women and child education.
The official teaser of the film will be out on July 12, 2018. The film stars Divya Dutta, Reem Shaikh, Mukesh Rishi, Abhimanyu Singh and Ajaz Khan.
