Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar's upcoming films will clash at the box office. 'Dolly Ki Doli' and 'Baby' are set to release on January 23, 2015.

While Akshay is known to release his films on or around public holidays, Sonam is a new entrant on the block.

Producer of DKD, Arbaaz Khan said, "We were always contemplating various dates and now have settled down to January 23. I am told this should be a good date, considering the fact that films like Dolly Ki Doli do require a week to settle down and then consolidate from there."

He further adds, "Of course, eventually it is the content that does the talking. Now that's something I am pretty confident about. Even in the face of competition, Dolly will find quite a few 'baraatis'."

Even though these films are clashing at the box office, the two are expected to be in a win-win situation as they belong to two different genres and won't end up eating in each other's shares.
