September 15, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The famous actor John C. Reilly believes that movies are a directors medium and as an actor he has little or no control over the outcome of a particular film. The Cyrus actor claims that previously he used to select movies based on the characters but now he has come to the realization that he has little creative freedom as the final call is always made by the filmmakers.

The actor said that before taking on a role he asks himself if he wants to portray the character on screen. The veteran actor wants to identify with the character at a personal level before taking on a certain project. John feels that it is very important for an actor to be emotionally attached to his/ her character.

The legendary actor revealed that he has often wondered if he fits in the acting world any longer as he does not consider himself a celebrity at all. The actor maintains that he took up acting because he loved it; fame and fortune was the last thing on his mind. John likes to play characters that he can believe in and somehow feel connected as well. Well John all we can say is keep up the good work!
