Featuring Vidyut Jammwal in a lead role in his most talked about film 'Junglee' now moves 6 months forward from its prior release date. The film was slated to release on October 19 but now gets a fresh release date of April 5, 2019.
The 'commando' actor shared a still from the film where he is seen touching Elephant's trunk with a lot of emotions. Vidyut tweeted, "We will go completely junglee at the theatres with the release of our film on April 5, 2019. Come and join the madness at a theatre near you."
The film is about a selfless bond between man and elephants and was locked for release on Dussehra previously. He will essay the role of Ashwath, a veterinarian who on his homecoming to his elephant reserve encounters and fights an international poachers racket.
Junglee is directed by Chuck Russell who has helmed Hollywood films such as 'The Mask', 'Eraser' and' The Scorpion King'. Junglee Pictures has previously produced the small town romantic comedy 'Bareilly Ki Barfi', which received several nominations at the IIFA Awards 2018.
