Bollywood's golden couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's life post marriage came under the spotlight once again, when Aishwarya gave birth to their first child last year. 

Though it has been almost eight months that they have been blessed with their baby girl Aaradhya, there hardly has been any picture of the baby in media. This is because the Bachchan family has closely guarded their beloved from the eyes of the paparazzi and the world. 

According to Abhishek they want to safeguard her from the pressure of celebrity hood and give her a normal upbringing. "I am not comfortable nor I need to show her off. She is not an item that she has to be put up to display. She is a child and Aishwarya and I would like her to grow up as normal as possible," said Abhishek at a recent press meet. 

However, he added that they he has been through the same phase and hence has been taking all the precautions, "I do understand that her parents and grandparents (Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan) are public figures but she is not yet and let her enjoy that. I have grown up in this industry and have been in this position so I understand the curiosity," added Abhishek. 

We hope the paparazzi respect their decision and stop stalking the couple for pictures.
