The 23-year-old star checked into the Betty Ford Center last month. The reasons for his stay remain undisclosed, although there is speculation he was getting help for addiction issues.
Aarons manager Johnny Wright has now confirmed he has left treatment after a month, and is back at home in Florida.
The star who is the younger brother of Back Street Boys singer Nick Carter is currently working on a new album so he can re-launch his music career.
No further details about his recovery have been released.

Good judgement comes from experience, and a lot of that comes from bad judgement, he wrote yesterday. So prepare cause when I'm there, I'm putting down my bags & going Nowhere! (WINNER) Im'a let the whole world Know (sic)!
Aaron had been writing and recording songs in the run-up to his stay in rehab, and had also started exercising more. Last year, he drew gasps when he debuted a bodybuilder-type physique.
Following his decision to get help, Johnny explained Aaron was keen to battle his demons so he can rise to the top of his profession.
Aaron, understanding the challenges and hard work it would take to get himself back to the top, requested to take some time before we started to heal some emotional and spiritual issues he was dealing with, he said. Therefore he has chosen to enter a facility where he feels he will get the guidance and cleansing he needs that will help him on the music journey he's about to take. (C) Cover Media
