Actor Saeed Jaffrey passed away on November 15, 2015. His niece Shaheen Aggarwal shared the news on twitter, "Today, a generation of Jaffreys has passed away. Saeed Jaffrey has joined his brothers and sister and is rejoicing in the lap of his Heavenly Father, eternally. The entire Jaffrey Family bids you, "adieu", you beautiful, beautiful man See you in heaven!"

The cause of death is not yet revealed. Saeed is well known for his roles in 'Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai', 'Deewana Mastana', 'Dil', 'Ghar Ho Toh Aisa' and many more.

He was the first actor to be short-listed for British and Canadian Academy Awards. He was also the first one to be bestowed with Order of British Empire honour for his work.

Few days ago, he was in news for expressing his regret about leaving his first wife Madhur Jaffery and settling down with his co-star Jennifer.
