Adele has slammed stars who use sex to sell their records, claiming they "don't even look like that" in real life.
The 24-year-old songstress is renowned for her stunning vocals and never uses gimmicks when she's performing. Adele advocates a curvier frame and gets frustrated when other artists use skimpy attire and provocative dance moves to present a false image to fans.
"I've seen them up close and they don't even look like that," she revealed to British newspaper The Sun.
Adele thinks it's important that real talent shines through, so she wouldn't show off her body even if she had a supermodel figure.
"I just stand there and sing. I'm not worried that I'm a plus size' and so much bigger than other artists," she explained. "No matter what you look like the key is to be happy with yourself."
Meanwhile, Muse have spoken about losing out to Adele in securing the latest James Bond soundtrack. Adele has recorded the main theme tune for upcoming instalment Skyfall, but the rockers insist their new track Supremacy would have been the perfect fit.
"It's got a little bit of a Bond vibe it all goes a bit crazy Live And Let Die in the middle," drummer Dominic Howard said.
"My view is they should use it for the next James Bond film, but I don't know what's going on with that. I heard Adele was doing it."
