Recently Abhay Deol flaunted his painting skills when he shared his pictures on a photo sharing site. Now he will be a film curator as he has managed to get the rights of three films which are Indie flicks, which are a part of National Film Development Corporation. The films will be showcased digitally.
A leading daily quoted him saying, "I saw Labor Of Love at IFFLA (Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles) and was floored by director Aditya Vikram Sengupta's aesthetic sensibilities and his ability to spin a story without any dialogue. Payal Sethi's Leeches is a compelling story on an issue that is anathema to our society. My most recent pick is Brahmanand Singh's Kaagaz Ki Kashti, which pays homage to Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh. It was premiered at MAMI this year. Piracy stems primarily from the unavailability of content on legitimate digital platforms. If your film is made available in a timely manner, viewers would prefer to pay and watch it on a legitimate platform."
He was last seen in 'Happy Bhag Jayegi.'
