Highly acclaimed filmmaker Sriram Raghavan has been in news since a long time for his forthcoming directorial venture "Agent Vinod", which has been in the making for almost two years now. But now he is thinking over to revive the plans of his film "Happy Birthday" which was conceived as an idea almost two years back. The director has till date made only two films before "Agent Vinod", namely "Ek Hasina Thi" and "Johnny Gaddar" and hence he feels that now its high time that he speeds up his work process.
He says that though he plans to revive the aforementioned stalled film in near future, he claimed that he wouldn’t take up any work on that front before 'Agent Vinod’s release. When Sriram conceived the idea of "Happy Birthday" he had thought of casting John Abraham and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the same. And when he was quizzed over the casting, he says that he would first like to work on the script and then mull over the casting.
Talking about the film he claimed that it would be nothing like Saif Ali Khan starrer spy thriller, "All I can say at the moment is that "Happy Birthday" is a very different film from "Agent Vinod". It’s a sci-fi love story, with no car chases and no guns," added Sriram.
