The "Mankatha" duo is back. Ajith, who is currently busy with the post production works of "Billa 2", will start a project with Venkat Prabhu, who directed his 50th film "Mankatha", which emerged the blockbuster of 2011.

It is said that the film would hit the floors after Ajith completes his forthcoming movies with Vishnuvardhan and "Siruthai"  fame Siva. 'In the meantime, Venkat Prabhu will start and finish his next film, which will have Suriya in the lead,' sources say.

Confirming the development, Venkat Prabhu, the director of super hits like "Goa", wrote on his microblogging page, 'Met Thala after a long time. Missed "Mankatha" days and hope to be back soon!'.

Meanwhile, works are on in a full swing to release "Billa 2" on 14th April. 'This prequel to "Billa", directed by Chakri Toleti of "Unnaipol Oruvan" fame, has been shaped up as a racy, stylish entertainer,' sources say.
