Finally, we are going to see Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan pairing after a long time for a romantic comedy titled 'Good News'. Both have worked together in films like 'Ajnabee', 'Kambakkht Ishq', 'Tashan' and 'Bewafaa'.

The makers have even announced its release date and the film is slated to release on July 19, 2019. Akshay sharing the details of the film's release tweeted, "Good News! That's the name of our film and so is the news I am sharing. It is a 'dramedy'. Due Date 19th July 2019." Directed by Raj Mehta, the film also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani in pivotal role.

In the film, Akshay and Kareena are playing a married couple and trying for a baby. While Diljit and Kiara are essaying the role of a Punjabi married couple trying for a baby as well. The shoot is expected to go on floors by the end of this year.

Meanwhile Akshay Kumar's next is '2.0' alongside Rajinikanth. The film is likely to hit the screens during Diwali weekend this year. While his Independence day release 'Gold' has proved out to be success at the box-office raking 70 crores in its first week and still counting.

Whereas Kareena Kapoor Khan's comeback film post the birth of Taimur was the multi-starrer 'Veere Di Wedding'. The film that raked 100 crores worldwide.
