A recent buzz confirmed that John Abraham has bagged the sequel to 'Welcome' which originally starred Akshay Kumar in the lead. As rumor has it, it was heard that Akshay was not happy about John playing his role in the sequel. But the latter confirmed the news stating that Akshay is the 'happiest' for him.
"Akshay is like my elder brother. Whatever I do, I always have a lot of discussions, especially with him. Akshay is happiest for me when I told him that I am doing Welcome Back. He said it's a very good film and you should do it," John said.
The actor further added, "It's an outstanding script, kids will love it and I am looking forward to doing it."
The sequel is titled 'Welcome Back' and apparently John is charging a whopping 15 crore to work in it.
"As far as money is concerned, I don't talk about money at all as I think it's not as important. I charge because I think I deserve it. But I give it to charity because I think that's more important," John said.
John will soon be seen in 'Shootout at Wadala' which releases on May 1.
