It is heard that the actor has plans to produce a full-fledged movie based on the art, which will be the first of its kind in India.

Apparently, Akshay will not star in the movie, but he plans to rope in newcomers. Right now, the team is working on the script and once that as well as Akki's prior commitments are complete, the film will go on floors.

Akshay wants to personally do the research and decide the cast of the film as well. He will also be looking at who will direct the film. Sources say that, Akki wants to make the film as authentic as possible and promote martial arts to the fullest. He feels his training in the combat form has contributed to his success as an action hero.

In the past, Akshay has held tournaments for young enthusiasts in the country as the sport is not very popular out here. Hence, with this movie, Akshay wants to help built a better understanding of the sport in our country.
