While Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar has already crooned for a special rap number in his film 'Singh is Kinng' with Snoop Dogg in the year 2008, the actor states that his solo number in his forthcoming film 'Special 26’ is his debut as a singer.
The music of the mentioned film was recently released and it was here that they revealed about Akshay's contribution as a singer too. He sung a romantic number 'Mujh Mein Tu' when the film's director Neeraj Pandey and music composer M.M. Kreem insisted him to do so.
Describing the song as his debut singing number, Akshay revealed how he ended up going behind the mike. "Though I sung a few lines with Snoop Dogg in 'Singh is Kinng', but this is technically my singing debut. My director Neeraj and music composer M.M. Kreem made me sing this number," said Akshay.
"When I was nervous over my voice and the beats, Kreem saab just asked me to be myself while he promised to take care of the rest. I blindly followed his advice and here is the song. The song is dedicated to all the lovers as a Valentine Day's gift from us," he further added.
The team however revealed that Akshay's version of the song is not included in the album as yet, but it will happen soon.
