While the last generation stars shied away from link-up rumors and preferred to ignore them even if they were untrue, the gen-x believes in not only talking about it openly but also make fun of it at the same time.
Bollywood stars like Sonakshi Sinha, Parineeti Chopra, etc have been vocal about their dislike towards the media for linking them up with their male friends. And the latest to join the list is Alia Bhatt.
After being linked to her debut film co-star Varun Dhawan she has now been linked to Arjun Kapoor who stars along with her in '2 States'. But the two are unfazed with the rumors.
"If I'd got affected (by the link up rumors), I would get upset. But, I don't give a damn! So, I tend to get indifferent. But then, they take my indifference also in a literal manner," said Alia.
Explaining the last part of her statement, she exclaims that her jokes too are hyped, "I agree that I jokingly or casually stated that we are a couple but then when I realized the prospective impact it could have, I immediately retracted," chuckles Alia who believes in being upfront about her opinions and her bonding.
Their recent selfies too have been a talk of the town but Arjun too is ignorant towards the whole issue.
"What happens is that at times you do things on impulse and they get noticed. But, the fact of the matter is whether we do things intentionally or spontaneously, people pick them up as they follow us. The idea is not if 2 States' release is approaching, we should behave in a friendly manner. We've been friends for a while; we've put our pictures online earlier as well," clarified Arjun.
Kudos to their friendship!
