The film is being produced by
Karan Johar who shares that technically this will be Varun and Alia's first actual love story on screen.
KJo has given the direction task to newbie Shashank Khaitan who has also written the story.
The film will go on floors in october and will be shot extensively in Punjab. It's expected release date is June 27, 2014.
