After Ranbir Kapoor, now its Alia Bhatt's turn to shift out of her family home. Alia is gearing up to shift out of the family space into a plush second floor apartment in Juhu in 2016.

Confirming the news, she said, "Yes, it's true. Richa and I are working on it as we speak.That's all I can share with you now."

Alia's father filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt spoke on her decision to move out. He said, "I have always admired her ability to walk on her own two feet. Alia is a self-made individual and there is nothing more gratifying for parents than to see their child grow on her own. She has the right to be different, and we must value that. For me, my home is where Alia is."

Alia's mother Soni Razdan, sister Shaheen and Vikas Bahl's wife Richa are decorating the house as per the actress' tastes and preferences. Her new pad is close to her parents residence, where she will stay with her sister.
