Allegation against Rachcha

26th March 2012

Ram Charan Teja's forthcoming film Rachcha has landed in a trouble. Jaathiya Arundhati Mahila Shakti (JAMS) on Sunday registered a complaint with the Police, demanding stern action against the producer, director and choreographer for 'hurting' the sentiments of people.

According to JAMS, a rain song 'Vaana Vaana Velluvaaye...' (remix of a yesteryear chartbuster) was shot on Ram Charan and Tamanna before an idol of Lord Buddha. The organisation feels the steamy song was against the culture.

In her e-mail complaint to Banjara Hills police station, JAMS president K Arundathi said, 'These obscene scenes are against our culture and send wrong message to the people.' She also forwarded a copy of her complaint to Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy.

Produced by R B Choudhary and directed by Sampath Nandi, Racha is expected to hit the screens soon. The song 'Vaana Vaana...' is a remix from Gang Leader, a yesteryear hit starring Chiranjeevi in lead role.
