(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alyssa Milano has given birth to a baby boy.

The 38-year-old actress and husband David Bugliari welcomed their first child this morning in Los Angeles.

They have called their new bundle of joy Milo Thomas. He weighed 7lbs and was 19 inches long.

Alyssa announced back in March on her Twitter page that she was expecting a son.

She told People magazine that her husband would be "the most amazing father ever" and added that she was having a great pregnancy.

Alyssa's son was already bringing her joy and making her giggle before he was even born she shared.

"Every time I get an ultrasound he's doing really funny things like sucking his thumb or elbowing me," she laughed.

Alyssa and her Hollywood agent husband tied the knot in 2009.

She is best known for her roles in Who's The Boss? and Charmed. (C) Cover Media
