Amala Paul quits Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirumalle Chettu

20th January 2012

Amala Paul is not doing "Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirumalle Chettu", a film that has brought together Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu for the first time. The actress has reportedly walked out of the project due to reasons undisclosed.

Earlier it was said that Trisha would be the leading lady. Then sources claimed that Anushka would play the heroine. However, Amala Paul was finalised at last. And now, the "Bejawada" actress too is no more part of the script.

'Producer Dil Raju is hunting for a new leading lady. He will soon finalise one of the top level actresses, since the movie features leading heroes and is being made on a lavish budget,' sources say.

While some say Kajal is being approached, it is also said that talks are on with Anjali, who made a mark with "Journey" (Telugu dubbed version of Tamil hit "Engeyum Eppothum"). An announcement is expected to be made soon on who the heroine is.
