(Cover) - EN Star Style - Amanda Peet has revealed she has an alcoholic drink before hitting the red carpet.

The 39-year-old has appeared in a variety of films, and recently starred in comedy Gullivers Travels.

Despite having appeared at numerous Hollywood events, Amanda has admitted that she still gets nervous before appearing on red carpets. She has revealed that she has a couple of unique ways to conquer her fears.

I try to get a good nights sleep, she told People. I wear outfits that feel comfortable so I can move easily and be as un-self-conscious as possible and I usually have a drink so Im not too nervous!

The actress also has a rigorous beauty routine before hitting any major events. She says teeth are very important, and can sometimes be overlooked. However, she joked her mouth is one of the first things to draw attention because her teeth are so big.

I have huge teeth, so they need to be white, she joked.

The star says that when shes not turning out to glamorous events, her daily style regime is very low maintenance. Amanda has admitted she is often too busy to change out of her casual attire.

Seriously, I dont have a routine. If I can get out of my sweatpants for the afternoon, thats a special day, she said. (C) Cover Media
