American Idol: High School Girl From Nashville Impresses Judges And Audience

28th January 2011

January 28, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Many found Wednesdays two-hour episode of American Idol to be quite boring. But no one can really complain about the one hour Nashville auditions episode, that aired on Thursday! American Idol went to Nashville to search for the ultimate talent, who will be crowned American Idol season 10. This was the fourth set of the auditions.

Nashville had some great surprises in store for the judges and the viewers. One such pleasant surprise was the 15-year-old high school student Lauren Alaina, who impressed the judges. So impressed were they, that Aerosmith lead singer and frontman Steven Tyler said that Laura might be The One.

The episode, which started with a fake red haired man singing off-key ended on a different note thankfully. The producers did reserve the best for the end. Rob Bolin, 23, and Chelsee Oaks, 23, were also not bad but considering the fact that duets do not advance much, it is doubtful what fate has in store for them ! Other good performances of the day were delivered by Adrienne Beasley, who is an adopted farm girl, Jackie Wilson, 28 who is a bar manager and Paul McDonald, a 25 year old musician from Nashville.

However it might not be the perfect time to make predictions about the winner because auditions from Los Angeles , San Francisco and Austin are yet to be aired. With four months left for the show to end, one really does not know what hidden talent might explode in this season of American Idol.
