Though the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is known for his aggressive nature and aggressive batting too, he is that quintessential player who has proved himself over the years. Recently tensions raised between India and Australia when during a match Virat Kohli opposed Steve Smith's DRS call and went on to mention it in a press meet. The Australian media compared him to the newly elected President of America Donald Trump. Bollywood actor and a cricket enthusiast Amitabh Bachchan came out in support of Virat through his social media platform Twitter.

He tweeted, "T 2471 - Aussi media calls Virat, Donald Trump of sports !! ... thank you Aussi media for accepting that he is a winner and the PRESIDENT !!"

At the press conference Virat mentioned the incident by saying, "I have seen it twice while batting. I have seen their players looking upstairs (dressing room). I told the umpires, this had to stop. I don’t want to mention the word but it falls in that bracket."
