(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amy Winehouse reportedly insulted the King of Zulus after arriving drunk at a restaurant opening.

The singer is renowned for her hell-raising ways, but seemed to have turned her life around after kicking her drug addiction. Amy spent time in St. Lucia to recover her health, but is now back living in London.

The singer and her boyfriend, film director Reg Traviss, attended the opening of the Shaka Zulu Restaurant in the Camden area of the city this week, but Amy had been drinking before they arrived. Goodwill Zwelithini, King of Zulus, was there as a special guest, and was given a standing ovation by the guests when he arrived. However, Amy reportedly had to be helped to her feet by Reg, and then fell asleep during the king�s speech.

�It was embarrassing. Amy was in a state. People were cringing,� a source told British newspaper The Sun. �Before the king arrived she was downing glasses of wine and snogging the face off Reg. She completely insulted the king during his speech. Amy showed no respect.�

She is said to have tried to wolf-whistle while the king was speaking, and began telling those seated near her how much she liked his leopard-skin outfit.

�I�m going to get my stylist to make me an outfit like that,� another publication quoted her as saying.

Amy wore a low-cut black dress to the event, and was seen chatting to people with part of her breast exposed.

Guests were treated to a feast of smoked salmon and seven-hour spit-roasted lamb, but Amy was unable to stay for the main course. Reg escorted her out the back entrance of the establishment at 9pm, shortly before 200 more partygoers arrived. (C) Cover Media
