Amy Winehouse Returns With A Bang In The Live Show In Brazil

11th January 2011

January 11, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Amy Winehouse, who has returned to the industry after a long wait, had a banging first live show in Brazil. It has been her first big public performance after 2008. However, the English singer premiered none of her long-awaited new material as the fans were expecting.

Amy rather chose her 2006 record Back to Black for her performance on January 8. On her first of five dates in this month in Brazil, she chose Boulevard of Broken Dreams from 1934 film Moulin Rouge. She has performed on January 10 and will be doing the same tonight also at Rio De Janeiro's Arena HSBC.

The Summer Soul Festival in Florianopolis was first of her five gigs in Brazil. She was spotted having a deep conversation with Ronnie before the concert. In fact, they were strolling around the garden of the Rio hotel with him.

Amy was looking healthy and was in quite good form while giving her performance. She has come out of the fight with her drug and drinks demons after more than two years and was seen in a good shape.

In the last month, during her performance in Russia, the 27 year old singer slurred her words but here in Brazil, she was in her full healthy form. She has been well received by the audience when she took the stage in a pink-and-white gingham dress. There is a buzz that Amy has pocketed a total of 5million pounds for these five days of performances.
