(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anne Hathaway has promised people have only seen "a tenth" of what her Catwoman suit can do.

Images of the Hollywood star in the tight-fitting black leather costume, riding what appeared to be Batman's motorbike, were released last week. The sexy outfit received a mixed response, but Anne is confident she will win over her critics when they see the new movie, The Dark Knight Rises.

"What I am happy to say is, if you didn't like the photo, you only see about a tenth of what that suit can do," she told MTV News. "And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste."

Anne - who plays Selina Kyle and her alter-ego Catwoman - admits she felt self-conscious when the image was released. She has confessed she decided to gauge other people's opinions of the outfit by asking some friends.

"I was not going to admit it: I asked someone to send me a few reactions [to the photo]," she added. "And I happen to know that MTV's reaction was, 'Meh.'"

This is the third instalment of the Batman superhero franchise to be directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie, which will also star Christian Bale and Tom Hardy, is scheduled for release next year. (C) Cover Media
