(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sir Anthony Hopkins says he always tries to muster intensity and passion in his movie roles.

The 73-year-old actor is considered one of Hollywoods most talented men, having received vast critical acclaim during his lengthy career as a movie star.

Anthony admits he has a more laidback approach to acting than he did when he was launching his career back in the 60s. That doesnt mean the talented star doesnt still work hard though, as he hasnt lost his fervour for cinema.

I dont take it so seriously. I show up and do my job because thats what they pay me to do, he replied when asked by Total Film how he feels he has changed as an actor.

I do everything with as much intensity and passion as I can.

Anthony doesnt find movie stardom difficult though, and teased that he would rather get a job done quickly than waste time agonising over parts. He feels he is similar to Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood in his simple approach.

I could get myself in a state of psychological tension, but whats the point? Im from the Clint Eastwood school. Point the camera and get on with it, he added. (C) Cover Media
