Anushka denies catfight with Deepika

4th January 2013

The rivalry between two stars in the Bollywood film industry continues like always. Currently, actress Anushka Sharma and Deepika Padukone are in the limelight for the same.

Earlier, the two were competing with each other to be a part of Sajid Nadiadwala's movie 'Kick' (read news). Then it was also heard that Anushka was upset over Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's close bond as they're both working in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film. Now, it is heard that Anushka Sharma took away an endorsement deal from Deepika by dropping her fee.

However, Anushka is furious over this rumor that has been doing the rounds. She firmly stated that her 'army background' would never allow her to stoop so low.

"There is absolutely no catfight. People just try and drag you into issues. It's not my problem that people try to pick actresses at random and create wars between them. I have nothing against anybody," she said.

Anushka, who is 'too dignified' about her professional work further added, "It shows poorly on my upbringing. I don't fight with other girls over things and I don't need to do that either. I remain dignified about the way I carry myself."

The actress ended 2012 with the hit film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and already has two films for 2013. She also stated that she has many endorsement deals, so the need to steal someone else' deal by dropping the fee is ridiculous.

"I find it very cheap to be saying I have X number of ads. I don't need to slash my price. Period," Anushka concluded.
