Bigg Boss contestant Armaan Kohli's case has been withdrawn by his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa. The actor was presented at the Bandra court and his lawyer Lakshmi Raman told the magistrate Pragati Yerlekar that the case has been settled between Armaan and his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa and that "no purpose will be served with his custody."

Randhawa was also present in the court during the hearing. Thereafter Kohli filed a petition before Bombay High Court for "quashing of the complaint by mutual consent," according to Raman. Kohli's father, film director RajKumar Kohli and friend Babu bhai were present in the court. Armaan's bail application was rejected by the court soon after Randhawa left the court and Armaan was taken away to jail by 3 pm.

In the court, Neeru Randhawa was also present and Raman said, "The complainant does not want to take this case further. Prosecutor, however, said the case is still at remand stage and it was not right to bring in the complainant to the court at this stage."

Legally, an FIR cannot be withdrawn without a court's sanction. So, in this case, even though Randhawa has withdrawn her complaint against Kohli, the case will have to proceed through the court. During the court proceedings almost the entire course of the hearing, Randhawa kept crying and Kohli avoided looking at her. As of now, the court has sent Armaan to judicial custody.
