(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Arnold Schwarzenegger's estranged wife Maria Shriver has reportedly had second thoughts about filing for divorce from her husband.

The former First Lady of California called time on her 25 year marriage earlier this year after The Terminator actor admitted to fathering a child with their housekeeper Mildred Baena 14 years ago.

But it appears that Maria is reconsidering ending the high-profile union, in part because of her staunch Catholic beliefs.

TMZ reports that 56-year-old Maria has told friends that she is thinking about taking Arnold back and her resolve is being weakened by him showering her with gifts and acting "extremely sweet" towards her.

Since they announced their split back in July, the couple have been on good terms for the sake of their four children and apparently even spent Christmas together this year at their former marital home in Brentwood, California.

"They had a really nice time" over the holiday a source told People magazine.

The family then apparently attended the Los Angeles Lakers' season opener game at the Staples Center later in the afternoon. (C) Cover Media
