Asha Bhosle has won seven Filmfare awards apart from the Best Female Playback Award category including an overall 18 nominations. She has even won the most prestigious National Award twice as Best Female Playback Singer for her 1981 film 'Dil Cheez Kya Hai' and 1986 'Mera Kuch Samaan'.
The sensational singer will be unveiling her wax statue for Madame Tussauds wax museum at Delhi on October 3. The wax statue of the legendary singer will be showcased in the Bollywood music zone at the upcoming wax museum in an interactive themed environment. Asha Bhosle's wax figure is made with the help of over 150 specific measurements and images revealed from the sources.
Managed by Merlin Entertainments, Madame Tussauds in Delhi will have over 50 wax figures of famous personalities from sports, cinema, politics, history and music. The museum already has wax statues of actors Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Madhubala and Kareena Kapoor Khan as well as international stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, David Beckham, Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie and Michael Jackson.
