Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is a legacy in his own way. The Indian actor has won innumerable awards and recognition for his contribution in the Bollywood film industry. He has been acknowledged for his talent not only in India but on the global front as well.

He has won awards for the 'Best Actor' in our country and has also been honoured by many esteemed international organizations. Though many actors confess that awards don't matter to them, SRK being honest, recently confessed that they personally mean a lot to him.

"Awards really excite me. No matter how many I have got, they have the same effect on me, like they did when I was new in the industry. I almost become like a kid in the candy store," said Shah Rukh.

He, who was awarded the 'Best Onscreen Couple' with Katrina Kaif for their recent hit 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', claims that the film will always be close to him for more reasons than he can remember. SRK also exclaimed that he is grateful to late Yash Chopra for giving him the opportunity.
