Television star turned film actor Ayushmann Khurrana, made a scintillating debut in Bollywood with the film 'Vicky Donor'. The film made him a star overnight as everyone was bowled over by his acting and singing in the film.

But unfortunately, his films in the following years couldn't maintain the momentum. 'Nautanki Saala' (2013) and 'Bewakoofiyaan' (2014), tanked at box office.

Though Ayushmann doesn't regret his choices, he confesses that financial success is very important for every star.

"You may think that you made the regular choice, but when you are doing a film, you cannot predict its success," said Ayushmann.

He further added that he doesn’t want to go back on his words of doing films after TV.

"I can go back to television whenever I want to; may be 10 years down the line, I will do that. But acting in films is something I have achieved after a very long time, after a lot of hard work and several unsuccessful auditions," he added.
