The 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' fame Ayushmann Khurrana started shooting for his next film titled 'Badhaai Ho'. Helmed by Amit Sharma, the film went on floors from today itself. The plot is a typical family drama as to how things change because of some unexpected news. The story will define the impact of news on the family and how the members interpret thing according to them.

The film also features the 'Dangal' actress Sanya Malhotra. On asked about the choice of his script, Ayushmann said, "After Dum Laga Ke Haisha (2015), I realised that script really matters and the content should be different in this day and age because nowadays, you have lot of options online and lot of space for people to showcase their work. And those are quirkier and edgier because censorship is lenient online."

Sharing his excitement toward the film he said, "I had a fantastic experience collaborating with Junglee Pictures for Bareilly Ki Barfi and working with them on Badhaai Ho is going to be exciting. The story that Amit tells is typically Indian with dollops of quirky humour. I look forward to a family film that is innovative and entertaining."

Talking about his choice of films the actor speaks, "Look at Akshay (Kumar) and Aamir (Khan). Even such big stars have married content-based cinema with socially relevant films and people haven't labelled them, so I don't see any risk. They have rather set a benchmark for us to follow." 

Looks like the actor is pretty much confident about this film that he has picked.
