Akshay Kumar's 'Baby' has won the box office battle. The film has left Arbaaz Khan's 'Dolly Ki Doli' far behind at the ticket window.
The Spy-thriller collected around Rs. 36.07 crore in its opening weekend, while the story of a con bride managed to earn only Rs.10.75 crore.
'DKD' had a poor start on the opening day as it could only manage to earn Rs. 2 crore, whereas 'Baby' closed its first day collection close to Rs.10 crore.
On the second day while 'Baby' continued with its forward march by earning Rs. 11crore, 'DKD' showed a modest growth by just minting Rs. 3.44 crore.
As it was a Republic day weekend, Neeraj Pandey's film based on terrorism recorded more footfalls as compared to Arbaaz Khan's film.
