(Cover) - EN Showbiz - The next Batman movie will begin shooting in April 2011, it has been reported.

Rumours had been circulating the set would be built somewhere in Louisiana, and ComingSoon.net has now claimed the principle photography will take place in New Orleans next spring.

If this does go ahead the new Batman movie wont be the only superhero film to be shot in Louisiana in recent years. Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds - was also recently made in New Orleans.

Last month, Christopher Nolan confirmed he would be directing his third Batman movie, revealing he already had some ideas for the next instalment.

Its becoming inevitable, Ill put it that way," he replied when asked to confirm he was directing the next Batman film. "I feel myself falling into it, I guess. And getting it all figured out and Im pretty excited about what were doing so If I havent announced it, I think that people probably all know at this point that Im doing it."

Christopher who previously worked on Dark Knight and Batman Begins is set to work with his brother, scriptwriter Jonathan Nolan, on the next movie. (C) Cover Media
