There has been a huge hullabaloo around filmmaker Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor's first ever co-production that has rising star Emraan Hashmi in lead. 

The film that will be directed by debutant director Akshay Roy was earlier offered to Karan's favorite Kareena Kapoor who kept the makers waiting in anticipation for her answer. 

The film has been lying low on the casting front, as despite of it being offered to her months ago, she kept them waiting for her answer. After the long wait, Kareena finally turned the offer down.

While many cite Emraan Hashmi's casting as the reason behind Kareena's refusal, Bebo on the other side has a different story to tell, "The offer had come, but it looks like I won't be doing the film due to date issues," said Kareena when she was probed over the film recently. Apparently, she has planned her wedding around the same time the film is slated to go on floors.

Latest buzz is that Deepika Padukone has now been offered the role who wasted no time in signing the film.
