Before release 'Bombairiya' to be screened at film fest

It is Radhika Apte's upcoming film titled 'Bombairiya' and going by the title itself the film is set in the backdrop of Bombay aka Mumbai, the financial capital of the country.

Today, the film will open the first edition of the Diorama International Film Festival, which is being held at the Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi, at 7 pm. Manoj Srivastava, the festival's Chairman, first heard about 'Bombairiya' from Adil Hussain, who plays the antagonist in the film. On the actor's recommendation, he contacted producer Michael Ward and invited him to premiere the film at the festival.

Last week, a private screening of the film was hosted by Pinky Anand, Additional Solicitor General of India at the Supreme Court, for other members of the judiciary.

The film that also stars Siddhanth Kapoor, Ravi Kishan and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal role are set to release across India in four days and director Pia Sukanya’s upcoming comedy mystery has been creating a buzz for being an entertaining film with a social message. 

It revolves around the theme of witness protection, which is relevant to India, as countless witnesses either turn hostile and recant their evidence or do not testify at all. 'Bombairiya', presented by Kreo Films FZ and Beautiful Bay Entertainment is slated to release on January 18.
