Bethenny Frankel believes relationships are all about "compromise."

The 41-year-old reality TV star married husband Jason Hoppy in March 2010. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Bryn Casey two months later in May.

Bethenny's first marriage to Peter Sussman ended in divorce.

She is keen on making her second marriage work and will put forth the effort to keep her relationship with Jason copasetic.

"Relationships are about acceptance," Bethenny told Life & Style magazine.

"Jason and I are very different; I have a strong personality and he's more mellow. Plus, we got married in our late 30s, and you're very set in your ways by then. It's about trying to compromise when you can."

Juggling motherhood, success business enterprises and marriage is a challenge for Bethenny at times.

"It's just hard," she explained. "I often feel like I come across as the crazy one in the relationship. Once in a while, I want to be the good cop."

Bethenny is committed to fostering a healthy marriage despite all of the difficulties she may face in her personal relationships.

Divorce is not an option for the star.

"No. Marriage is a commitment," Bethenny declared. "We work at it every day."
