Beyonc Knowles has spoken about what she is most looking forward to when she becomes a mother.

The 30-year-old superstar is expecting her first baby early next year with rapper husband Jay-Z and says that is really looking forward to meeting her little one.

The Single Ladies star opened up to Britain's New! Magazine about how she is feeling and how anxious she is to finally get to see her baby.

"I guess it's kind of a clich, but I just can't wait to hold my baby in my arms," the singer said.

And although she hasn't had the first one yet, Beyonc is already looking to the future and expanding her family.

"I have always said that I want to have all my children by the time I am 40," she disclosed. "So there's still a lot of time left."

"There is an attraction for sure about having a large family, but we will just have to see what we are blessed with."

Beyonc revealed that as a first time parent she will have lots of support from her own mother, sister Solange, best friend Kelly and other celebrity mum Gwyneth Paltrow.

"Gwyneth has been such a great support," she shared. "Her and Chris Martin are both great parents, and they have really beautiful kids."

"She makes sure that her children are the priority in her life but, at the same time, manages to have a really successful career. I have always said I will work my career around my children and not the other way around."
