(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Beyonc Knowles will help Kelly Rowland pick finalists for the UK version of The X Factor, according to reports.

The singer, who was Kelly's bandmate in R&B group Destiny's Child, is said to be supporting her friend as a mentor on the show.

Every year, X Factor judges get to invite one of their friends from the music industry to help them choose the finalists for their respective category.

According to British magazine Heat, Kelly has brought in Beyonc, now a hugely successful solo artist, to pick her final three candidates.

It has not been revealed who the other judges Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos will invite to be their mentor.

Last year's famous aides were former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia and Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am while Simon Cowell, as every year, brought back ex-girlfriend and 80s star Sinitta. (C) Cover Media
