Yesteryear dreamgirl Bhanupriya, who is known for her beautiful eyes, is back on big screen. She will be seen playing a crucial role in a film titled 'En Peyar Kumarasamy', which is directed by Rathan Chandrasekar. 'It is a great role and hence I accepted it.' she says.

Bhanupriya, popular for her performances in films like 'Maharasan', 'Sathriyan' and 'Pangaali', was last seen in 'Polladhavan'. In the Vetrimaran directed Dhanush starrer 'Polladhavan', she played the role of the protagonist's mother and won applause from various quarters.

'I was not acting since then because I was waiting for a challenging offer. Thankfully En Peyar Kumarasamy came my way and I was so thrilled to learn about my character in the movie. My thanks to director Rathan Chandrasekar for giving me such a beautiful role.', she says.

'I am playing mother to the hero of this film. Though the protagonist is a newcomer, I accepted this offer since it was so meaty. I am open for more such challenging roles. Because there is no point in doing stereotypical characters. signs off Bhanupriya.
