Amitabh Bachchan will soon kick start the ninth season of Kaun Banega Crorepati.

So far as small screen is concerned, the actor will also be featuring in a 52 episodes animated series named, 'Astra Force' which revolves round superhero stranded on earth after a epic space battle. After which a twin of eight year old teach him about video games and ice cream and also joins him to save the universe from a giant monster; in short, a victory of good over evil.

The series will reportedly air in 2017. Siddharth Roy Kapur, MD of Disney India, shared, "Presenting Indian families with interesting stories and engaging concepts is at the heart of what we do on the Disney network. And this action-adventure comedy series with its unique storyline is another exciting step in that direction. Mr. Bachchan stepping out in an animated avatar for the first time on TV just makes it that much more special."

In animation world, Amitabh was last seen as Bheeshma in the film, Mahabharat two years ago.
