(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Billy Ray Cyrus claims he has written a new movie for Whoopi Goldberg to star in.

The country singer told the award-winning actress that he has penned the perfect script for her. The pair met when Billy was appearing on American television show The View which is hosted by Whoopi last Friday. The studio audience reportedly heard the exchange between the stars, but their comments were not aired during his interview.

Billy is confident the project, which is titled Paris, will be a hit and he is even considering appearing in the film too, reports the New York Post.

My goal is to do a scene with you one of these days," he told Whoopi.

However, Whoopi was initially unconvinced about the idea, insisting there havent been many scripts which have excited her recently.

"There's not a lot of movie stuff for me these days, because, apparently, it turns out I'm black, Billy," she joked, "I don't know if you know that."

When Billy continued to insist he had written a film for her to both direct and star in, Whoopis negativity began to soften.

"Did you? No, you have to direct, baby, because I'm too lazy," Whoopi replied. "Let's play. I'm up. I'll even lose a little weight."

Billy then revealed he had another Hollywood comic in mind to join the cast.

"Me, you and Chris Rock. I'm right in between you," he added. (C) Cover Media
