Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu has always been a fitness enthusiast. While she has been renowned for her performances in her films, her fitness DVDs have earned her a respectable position in the market too.
And hence it comes as no wonder when she bonds with people with similar interests. The actress is currently bonding with her 'Alone' co-star Karan Singh Grover, who makes his debut with this film.
Karan, who has moved from television to films, is also known for his obsession with fitness. Hence, when these two fitness freaks came together, they immediately exchanged notes on their regimes.
Karan especially has introduced Bipasha to a new technique that has impressed the bong babe immensely. Bipasha confessed that she was glad she could pick up the regime in its truest form.
"I have seen Karan doing some callisthenic exercises (workouts that don't necessarily involve the use of equipment) and they are very demanding. It's a tough routine, so Karan trained me. He taught me how to hang upside down. It (hanging upside down) is a very beneficial position. It helps build your immunity," she said.
Bipasha revealed why, despite of being in a perfect shape, she felt the need to learn this new methodology. "With every passing year, we grow older. And especially with the lifestyles we lead, we are very prone to lifestyle diseases. I already have osteoarthritis. So, if you can do something new, it feels like an accomplishment… you feel a little stronger," she added.
