Blake Lively attends Gala with Lagerfeld

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Blake Lively looked stunning in Chanel at last nights Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala.

The 23-year-old actress was just one of many famous faces to embrace high fashion at the annual event, which is one of the most important style nights of the year and takes place at New Yorks Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Blake arrived at the event alongside acclaimed designer Karl Lagerfeld, who is creative director at Chanel the French label whose Mademoiselle handbag line she fronts.

She wore a provocative grey haute couture Chanel frock which gave the appearance that her top half was adorned purely with silver flowers.

Other celebrities to attend the bash, which was celebrating the exhibition, Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty in tribute to the late fashion designer, included Taylor Swift, Evan Rachel Wood and Mary J. Blige.

Pregnant Jessica Alba was rated highly by fashion critics as she disguised her baby bump in a flattering Ralph Lauren strapless gown in cream which featured a wrinkled-effect and beading. Another star who made a big statement was songstress Jennifer Lopez, who rocked a bright pink
