Varun Dhawan's never-before-seen avatar in 'Badlapur' got him a positive response at the box office. After earning 7.20 cr on the opening day, the film showed a little growth on the second day.

Sriram Raghavan's revenge drama minted 8.75 cr on the second day at the domestic box office.

Trade analyst reported that despite of the ongoing ICC tournament, the film will do well at the box office, as the plot is quite engaging and fresh for the audience.
