Brad Pitt is "pushing" his children towards a career in architecture.
The actor raises six children with Angelina Jolie; adopted kids Maddox, ten, Pax, eight, and seven-year-old Zahara as well as biological children Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
Brad appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday to discuss the progress of his Make It Right project in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The foundation has built houses in the area following the devastation of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
Brad hopes his house-building passions have rubbed off on his brood.
"I think I got one [architect in the family]," he told the talk show host.
"Yeah, I'm pushing them that way. When you see them drawing crayon houses. That's a beautiful house, honey.' Just keep pushing them."
Brad remains modest about his accomplishments with the project. The Hollywood star says the success of the foundation is the result of dedicated teamwork.
"I'm getting far too much credit for this. This took a lot of very smart people coming in and attacking the situation," he explained.
"It took the families determined to come back and their resilience and they're defining what this thing was going to be. I get far too much credit for bringing some really smart people together."
